of Ten Millions up to Fifteen Millions forthwith by the creation of 40,000 new shares of the face value of $125 each, to be issued to Share- -holders as soon as possible in the proportion of 1 new share to every

We are advised that it will be necessary that an Ordinance be introlucel into the Legislative Council of this Colony

with the object of awenling and extending the existing Ordinance, and

at the same tire extenling its operation for a further period of 21

years since the present Urlinance will expire on the 14th. August,

1908, and oy Directors will be gial to learn His Excellency's views on the matter before calling the Shareholders together to pass the neces-

-sary Resolutions to effect the above objects, i shall be glad therefore

to learn from you at an early late that there will be no objection on the part of the Government to the passing of the necessary Ordinance

to increase the Capital and to extend the term of the existing Urii-

-nance as above indicatel,
